Health Services Data Ware Programmer - Full time- Center for Health Services
Under general supervision of the Principal Investigator, in conjunction with the Coordinator, or Data Manager, the programmer assists with developing, maintaining, and optimizing a data warehouse and databases for health services research and health policy analysis. The role involves designing and constructing data solutions, performing data verification, documentation, and partnering with stakeholders for policy and health services evaluations. Develop, maintain, and optimize data warehouse and database systems for health services research. Design and construct data architecture, perform data verification and documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders to support policy analysis and health services evaluations. Work in a hybrid schedule: 3 days in office at One Ford Place, Detroit and 2 days remote. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in health science, biostatistics, computer science, or related field (Master’s preferred). At least 4 years of experience in data programming; experience with SAS required. Experience in healthcare research data programming preferred. At least 3 years in healthcare environment and research environment preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills. Willingness to learn and develop new skills. Additional Information
