Responsibilities
Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
Wash and sanitize plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils in accordance with Flanigan’s sanitation policies.
Clean and sanitize throughout each shift.
Maintain kitchen area cleanliness: sweep, mop and remove debris from the floor.
Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, and beautification tasks.
Prepare and maintain the dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing.
Support fellow employees as needed.
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift.
Can reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift.
Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions.
Ability to speak, read and write English.
Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans and sharp knives/utensils.
Work in damp, high temperature indoor environment and minimally outdoors.
Complete and pass a food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.
Benefits
Five (5) Day Work Week with Two (2) Consecutive Days Off.
Paid Vacation: One Week after Year One, Two Weeks after Two Years, and Three Weeks after Ten Years.
Christmas Bonus after one year of employment (amount equals one week pay).
Health Insurance – Medical & Dental programs available.
401K Plan – Immediate eligibility; must be 21 or older to enroll.
Advancement based on performance, not tenure.
