Position Overview Camp‑tiva is South Seas’ exciting kids programming experience, designed to inspire creativity, exploration, and fun through nature‑based, hands‑on activities. The Kids Programming Attendant supports daily Camp‑tiva activities and programming, ensuring a fun, safe, and welcoming experience for children and families. This role is ideal for energetic, responsible team members who love working with kids in an outdoor, resort setting.
Essential Functions
Lead and assist with age‑appropriate games, crafts, and nature‑inspired activities
Supervise children to ensure safety and positive engagement at all times
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program space
Assist with daily program setup, breakdown, and activity preparation
Communicate clearly and professionally with parents and guardians
Enforce program rules, safety guidelines, and resort policies
Represent the South Seas brand with enthusiasm and hospitality
Position Requirements
Experience working with children (camp, recreation, childcare, education, or similar) preferred
Energetic, positive, and engaging personality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work outdoors and stay active throughout the day
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Skills and Abilities
Fluent in English, must convey information and ideas clearly
Excellent multitasking ability, handling multiple job functions simultaneously
Show initiative in job performance, anticipating needs before they arise
Remain composed and objective under stress in a fast‑paced environment
Effective at listening, understanding, and clarifying concerns or issues raised by coworkers and/or guests
Teamwork is essential and critical in this role
Working Conditions – Physical/Mental Requirements
Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods; lift up to 40 pounds
Work in a fast‑paced environment
Work in varying weather conditions, including high temperatures and humidity
Perform indoor and outdoor activities, including beach‑side programming
Hours Required 40 hours per week, flexible schedule. Will be required to work weekends and/or holidays.
