At New Oak Academy, we are looking for an AWESOME teacher to join our AMAZING team. Someone who thrives in a supportive fun work environment, believes children learn best through hands-on experiences, wants to grow professionally, and is passionate about Early Childhood Education. Is that you? The teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, implementing the curriculum, having great communication skills, effectively resolving conflict when needed, partnering with parents to achieve a successful school for the students, potty training, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Also, has knowledge about children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children. Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials. Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports. Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling. Help ensure a smooth, daily transition from home to school. Follow all center policies and state regulations. Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement. Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience (preferred not required) High energy and positive attitude Ability to work well with others. Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills. An understanding of child development. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. Must clear a full background check and must pass a health screening. Nice To Haves
