TEMP TO PERM
position is responsible for finishing and preparing parts for assembly or shipment. This role involves removing excess material, cleaning, polishing, and inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Use tools such as sanders, grinders, or other equipment to remove excess material from products.
Clean and polish parts to improve their appearance and durability.
Inspect parts for defects or imperfections and report any issues to supervisors.
Operate machinery and equipment to perform finishing tasks.
Package finished products according to specific instructions and quality standards.
Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment.
Use saws to prep and cut out aluminum frames to be welded.
All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Required Abilities
High level of attention to detail to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small parts and tools.
Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving parts.
Familiarity with finishing tools and machinery.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May be exposed to various workplace hazards, including chemicals, machinery, and noise. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential.
