Job Description As a Security Officer - Vehicle Gate Attendant in Claycomo, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as needed.
Operate and monitor access control systems, surveillance equipment, and alarm systems as required by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
CPR certification is preferred.
First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
