Duties and Expectations
Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile.
Use guests’ names whenever possible to enhance welcome.
Contribute to great guest satisfaction scores with all team members.
Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities.
Support all events and groups hosted at the hotel.
Leverage relevant technology for each role.
Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting.
Keep all work areas (front and back of house) clean and well‑organized.
Join team efforts for cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed.
Work smiling and with a "Can Do" attitude to meet business and guest needs.
Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with all team members.
Housekeeper – Role Specific Duties and Expectations
Complete pre‑cleaning duties: stock supplies, attend morning stand‑up, and assist with linen in the laundry room.
Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms each shift.
Perform additional cleaning projects as assigned, including storage rooms, public spaces, and deep cleaning activities.
Success Metrics
Happy Guests – Management performance ratings, guest satisfaction scores, and intent to return.
Spotless Cleanliness – GM/AGM spot checks, leadership walk‑throughs, guest ratings/reviews.
Product Consistency & Quality – Checklist tracking, management ratings, guest ratings.
Teamwork – Management performance ratings.
Qualifications & Requirements
Preferred experience in hospitality, service, consumer‑facing franchise, or related field.
Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
Work well in stressful, high‑pressure situations.
Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
Desire to serve all guests.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Available to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Adhere to clock‑in/out procedures; never work off the clock.
Clock in/out for breaks and provide adequate notice when calling out.
Physical Working Demands & Working Environment
Stooping, bending, and using lower extremities and back muscles.
Climbing ladders, stairs, and ramps.
Balancing on narrow, slippery surfaces.
Kneeling, crawling, and standing for extended periods.
Walking long distances and carrying items such as linens, trash, or vacuums.
Performing repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.
