Primary Responsibilities The Campus Ministry Coordinator works under the direction of the Catholic Campus Ministry Director to create a culture of intentional discipleship and to foster the spiritual and sacramental needs of Catholic college students. This position supports the planning and coordination of Sunday Mass and liturgical life on campus, with a special emphasis on developing a vibrant student music ministry. In addition, the role collaborates on opportunities for prayer, retreats, service, outreach, stewardship, and social events that engage students in living out the Gospel.
Minimum Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree and ongoing formation through the Missionary Discipleship Institute.
Solid understanding of Catholic theology, scripture, catechesis, and evangelization with young adults.
Knowledge of current liturgical music and appropriate use in the liturgy.
Familiarity with Church documents related to young adult ministry and evangelization.
Must be a practicing Catholic, a member in good standing of a Catholic parish, and be single, ordained, a professed religious or in a sacramental marriage and have a strong faith commitment, dedicated to the Gospel values and living a life of prayer and service.
Strong faith commitment rooted in Gospel values, prayer, and service.
Valid driver’s license required.
Strong leadership, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
Musical ability and experience, including choir direction, rehearsal planning and proficiency playing guitar and keyboard.
Excellent organizational, planning, and administrative skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with technology and social media.
Ability to plan and manage a budget.
Ability to invite and mentor student involvement in liturgical and music ministries.
Strong decision‑making ability and attention to detail.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
