Job Description
Delivery Driver position responsible for stocking ingredients, receiving and processing phone orders, inventory management, daily cleaning, and delivering products and marketing materials.
Responsibilities
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Deliver product by car to the customer's door, including flyers and door hangers.
Operate all equipment and prepare product.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and telephone; able to give correct written instructions and communicate with customers and co‑workers.
Basic arithmetic skills; able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and make correct monetary change.
Motor coordination and ability to work quickly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigation skills: read a map, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain (multi‑story buildings, private homes, etc.).
Training Orientation and on‑job training will be provided.
Work Conditions Work involves exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature extremes, fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces (up to 500°F), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Tasks may require standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lb, varying sizes), carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, crouching, and reaching above 72 in.
