Overview 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, Weekend rotation with on-call requirement.

Will drive Nationwide Children's vehicle. Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Job Description Summary Manages inventory of medical supplies and equipment, coordinating their procurement and delivery to NCH Homecare patients.

Job Description Essential Functions

Maintains the inventory levels of supplies and equipment, placing orders and purchasing products as needed.

Assists with the accurate fulfillment and delivery of ordered products and supplies to patient homes.

Maintains accurate records of equipment orders, costs, usage, and delivery.

Assists with the education of patients and caregivers on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.

Performs excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues, and assists with the completion of needed administrative tasks.

Participates in quality and performance improvement activities.

Education Requirement High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Licensure Requirement Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, and driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Certifications

DOT HAZMAT Transportation certification, required.

Completion of NCH safety and education training within 30 days of hire, required.

Skills

Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Analytical and organizational skills.

Experience

One year of experience in health care environment, preferred.

Home Medical Equipment experience, preferred.
