Secondary Math Teacher – Inspire Connections Academy
We’re hiring a Secondary Math Teacher for Oregon Connections Academy, a tuition‑free, online public charter school serving grades K‑12 across Idaho. The role is based in Idaho and requires 8‑4 MST hours, occasional evening service, and occasional travel.

Position Overview As a secondary math teacher, you will deliver synchronous instruction, support student engagement, provide interventions and enrichment, and use data to diagnose learning needs. You will also maintain clear documentation, collaborate with colleagues, and manage a homeroom class.
Responsibilities
Deliver live, camera‑on instruction (8‑4 MST) to whole, small, and one‑to‑one groups.
Monitor student engagement during sessions and quickly address participation issues.
Complete grading, progress reports and parent conferences within policy timetables.
Use RTI/MTSS framework to plan Tier 1 differentiation and Tier 2/3 interventions.
Provide targeted intervention and enrichment based on academic and engagement data.
Maintain attendance, intervention, communication, and instructional records in school systems.
Communicate regularly with parents, students, and staff to update Personal Learning Plans and schedules.
Collaborate daily with colleagues via virtual meetings and shared systems.
Consult with counselors and other staff on enrichment activities, accommodations, and instructional modifications.
Manage homeroom class: attendance, progress, promotion, and end‑of‑year calls.
Proctor state testing and participate in recruiting/marketing events.
Attend required professional development and pursue ongoing growth.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Highly qualified and certified to teach secondary math in Idaho with a valid 7300 Mathematics (6‑12) credential.
Reside in Idaho.
Strong technology skills, particularly with Google Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organization and attention to detail.
Ability to analyze data, develop intervention plans, and track student progress.
High flexibility, strong collaboration, ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing events, field trips, and state testing.
Ability to work occasional evening hours.
Private workspace free from distractions, high‑speed internet, appropriate childcare during 8‑4 MST.
