Job Summary In this role you will support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment regulated by MSHA safety standards. As a Haul Truck Operator you will work with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
Operate one piece of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.)
Operate equipment in quarry or production areas
Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
Perform daily pre‑shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance.
Maintain strong communication with other plant employees and operators.
Conduct daily inspections and maintain equipment performance.
Collaborate with team members and assist with other duties as needed.
Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
About You
Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
Positive, team‑based attitude
Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
Ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Working Conditions and Physical Environment While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
