THE JOB As a Cook at Borgata, you will expertly apply your culinary skills while creating a warm and inviting experience for our guests with your friendly smile and dedicated service. By connecting with each guest and understanding their unique stories and needs, you’ll take ownership of their dining experience, crafting WOW moments and lasting memories that they will cherish long after their visit.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques
Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation
Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service
Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups
Work as a team, assist all guests needs and inquiries
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
1+ Years experience as a Cook preferred
Required to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

PAY RATE The rate for this role is: $24.00
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
