Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Strategic operations advancing ministry excellence. POSITION DESCRIPTION The Next Gen Pastor extends the mission of Eastpoint Church to Kids, Students and Young Adults by leading the staff and ministry leaders in these ministries and pastoring families, students, young adults, and volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of two years of experience preaching regularly

Minimum of two years of leading in a next gen ministry context

Demonstrated ability to identify, equip and empower volunteer leaders to disciple students and young adults

Ability to preach Christ from all scriptures and apply the Bible to students in engaging ways

Experience with large camp ministry or event planning

Spiritual Maturity: models lifestyle of a passionate, maturing follower of Jesus.

RESPONSIBILITIES Student Ministry (60%) Create and lead a thriving student community by leading a volunteer staff of disciple-makers. Cover all of the administrative organization of the ministry, such as budgeting, calendaring, event planning, etc.

Identify, equip and empower a growing volunteer staff to disciple students.

Facilitate ongoing excellent and dynamic mid-week gatherings.

Create in-roads into the public school system for your team to engage with students in their world.

Lead regular staff trainings.

Lead two camps per year (Summer and Winter weekend).

Create channels to equip and communicate with parents.

Implement the discipleship strategy of the church into student ministry.

Kids Ministry (20%) Lead and equip leaders and ministry team members to lead a discipleship-oriented ministry that supports, partners with and assists parents in discipling their children.

Ensure Sunday environments are safe and prepared

Support Kids Ministry for Sunday Gatherings as needed

Young Adult Ministry (20%) Create a thriving community of young adults that are being formed into mature, godly and responsible adults. Create a culture where young adults plug into the discipleship strategy of the church.

Create and train a network of relational mentor figures who intentionally engage with young adults in discipleship relationships.

Initiate a calendar of connection points where young adults can meet and gather with other young adults.

Prayerfully select young adults you can disciple in a Discipleship Group.
