Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - State College Enterprise Mobility is seeking responsible, dedicated people to join our team as a full‑time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $16 per hour based on a 40‑hour work week and is located at 215 Blue Course Dr Unit B, State College, PA 16803.

Schedule

Monday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Tuesday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Wednesday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Thursday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

Wash, clean and dry the vehicle’s exterior – cars, trucks and vans.

Clean, sanitize, vacuum and prepare the vehicle interior per industry‑standard protocols.

Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; reset or restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; locate customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify registration and license plate.

Check fluid levels, adding as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect exterior for damage.

Fuel and stage the vehicle.

Inspect the vehicle for safety concerns; report warning lights or damage; pull the vehicle out of prep processing as necessary.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.

Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair and odors.

Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches.

Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning of desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and other miscellaneous tasks related to the branch location’s daily cleanliness.

Additional Responsibilities

Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training and goal setting.

Maintain a regular, reliable level of attendance and punctuality.

Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.

No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past three years.

Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company now or in the future.

At least 18 years old.
