Night Shift - Production Assistant
12-hour shifts Mon-Thurs / Mon-Wed – 6pm-6am May train on 1st shift

Job Summary Performs a variety of activities related to the operation of equipment used to create products in a manufacturing setting. This includes responsibilities for machine operation, material movement via forklifts, production record‑keeping, production of quality products, and cleaning activities.
Duties/Responsibilities
Maintain equipment uptime running correct yardages of material.
Check cut widths at shift change and changeovers.
Keep weights in specification.
Properly flag defective material.
Change adhesive drums, rolls, and make up splices.
Monitor schedule
Obtain SOP specifications.
Stack empty skids and discard raw material packing.
Complete daily Job Reports, print the next production order, record daily production.
Verify order numbers and tickets numbers.
Accurately post raw material usage.
Effectively communicate with crew on shift.
Visually inspect machine for issues before and during runs
Check material running for defects.
Complete necessary lab checks
Verify raw material widths.
Maintain GMP by sweeping, cleaning and returning tools to designated areas.
Drive forklift to stage / remove materials from work area for changeovers.
Other duties as assigned include working other areas of the plant.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalence
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements The candidate must pass a company post‑offer employment drug screen, physical and background check prior to commencing work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend time in the plant for sustained periods of time. There is occasional exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals. The employee is required to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Must have full range of body motion. The employee will be required to use all personal protective equipment provided by the company in compliance with OSHA regulations.

Must be able to maintain good relations with co‑workers.
Must maintain a professional attitude.
