General Description Day positions available on WCJC Wharton Campus beginning in the Spring 2026 academic term. The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from an appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to ensure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.
Requirements This position requires a Master's Degree or Doctorate, preferably in Nursing. If the Master’s Degree is in a discipline other than Nursing, the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a minimum of six graduate hours in Nursing. A valid, unencumbered Texas Nursing License or privilege to practice is also required. A criminal background check is required.
