Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, & act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, support team members with seasonal resets and installations, and occasionally work with other products from other companies in visited stores.

Salary and Schedule Details

Your starting pay will be $13.50-$15.00 depending on your skills and experience.

This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours are between 12–15 per week.

Availability during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. The technology is critical for day‑to‑day work, communication with your supervisor, time reporting, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital.

Holiday support: Manage additional days and extended hours during major holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.

Department resets: Participate in installations and various tasks (build/install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments, reset sections). Two weeks’ notice will be given for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.

Team support: Work as part of Hallmark’s field organization network, supporting other merchandisers within the territory as needed.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons and display fixtures up to 30 lb daily and up to 50 lb occasionally. You will kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Read, write, and understand English.

Capable of lifting products up to 30 lb frequently and 50 lb occasionally.

Operate a digital handheld device for reading documents and interpreting information.

Access to a Wi-Fi network and the Internet.

Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
