Overview
Home Matters Caregiving East Valley is seeking compassionate, reliable On-Call Caregivers to provide exceptional in‑home care for seniors in our community. This position is ideal for caregivers with a flexible schedule who can respond to client care needs with just a few hours’ notice.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to last‑minute or same‑day assignments.
Travel to clients’ homes in the East Valley within a few hours of being contacted.
Provide quality care, including assistance with daily activities, personal hygiene, companionship, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
Communicate any changes in clients’ health or needs to our care team.
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well‑being.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
Support clients with mobility needs.
Experience & Qualifications
Previous experience in home health care or caregiving.
Experience in cooking and meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs is beneficial.
A compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills is essential for building trust with clients.
Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $16.00/hr – $18.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience). On‑call caregivers for seniors in Chandler, Gilbert, Queencreek, Arizona.
Schedule: 12‑hour, 4‑hour, day, evening, morning, night, and overnight shifts. Expected hours: 10–40 per week.
Salary range for on‑call assignments: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
Benefits: Flexible schedule, paid time off, paid training.
Job Type Full‑time and Part‑time positions available.
