Job Description
As a
Security Officer - Residential Access Control
located in
Huntington Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in residential settings. This part‑time role allows you to build a schedule that works for you while providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a secure environment.
Pay rate: $21.50 per hour.
Location: Huntington Beach, California.

Friday: 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Saturday: 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Sunday: 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM

What You’ll Do
Greet residents, guests, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner while monitoring access.
Verify identification and/or authorization for entry, following established procedures.
Screen incoming vehicles and individuals, maintaining logs and records as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding any unusual activity or incidents.
Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with inquiries and offering directions.
Remain alert and attentive at the assigned post, observing for any unusual activity or situations requiring a security‑related response.
Follow all site‑specific policies, procedures, and emergency protocols directed by Allied Universal and the client.
Minimum Requirements
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
