Seeking Skilled Caregivers With Open Availability For Day Shifts In Mount Pleasant Areas

Responsibilities
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
Provide medication reminders
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
Transportation to and from shops, pharmacy or appointments
Perform light housekeeping duties for the client
Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion
Qualifications
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid driver’s license, working vehicle, and current insurance
Must adhere to plans of care for client
Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
One year of in-home caregiver experience preferred
Excellent communication skills and active listening
Ability to remain calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status
Knowledge of emergency response and CPR preferred
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and use of medical equipment such as wheelchairs, transfer benches, walkers
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
Respectful and compassionate demeanor
