As a Part‑Time Security Guard in a manufacturing and industrial setting, you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor access points, respond to emergencies, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

What You’ll Do
Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, using sound judgment to resolve issues as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help maintain controlled access.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security‑related threats, or hazards to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or site management.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help deter security‑related risks and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Respond promptly to alarms and/or requests for assistance, taking appropriate action in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.
Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations or lockdowns, as directed by site management or Allied Universal supervisors.
Minimum Requirements
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
