Job Summary
Tulsa Community College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors for Continuing Education courses in Microsoft Office. Adjunct instructors are hired within their respective fields for one or more semesters based on the needs of their academic school.
A teaching assignment may or may not be available at the time of application. Potential adjunct faculty will be contacted as teaching assignments become available.
Essential Duties
Lead non‑credit courses for adult learners covering topics such as:
Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, formulas, and data analysis)
Microsoft Outlook (email, calendar, and task management)
Microsoft OneNote (organization, note‑taking, and collaboration)
Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (basic to intermediate skills, optional)
Custom course content based on student needs (optional)
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Education) or equivalent professional experience
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Background in teaching or prior teaching experience, preferably with adult learners
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
Prior teaching or public speaking experience
Experience creating lesson plans or curriculum for adult learners
Strong communication, organization, and technology skills
Passion for student‑focused learning and professional development
