As an Applebee's Server, you will be the guests first and last impression. You must be friendly, make recommendations, and anticipate the needs of the guest. You will work hard but have a great time doing it!
Responsibilities
Greet guests, provide recommendations, and anticipate guest needs.
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a positive, energetic atmosphere.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the dining area.
Requirements
Minimum age 18 years.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Commitment to making an impact and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Physical Standards and Safety
Well‑paced mobility for up to four hours.
Safe reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from the dining room, service bar, and kitchen about 30 times per shift.
Speak clearly and listen attentively to employees and dining room staff.
Wear protective hand coverings during entire shift.
Use disinfectant cleaning supplies throughout shift.
Wear protective face coverings and/or masks during entire shift.
Frequent hand washing with disinfecting soap during shift.
