Position: SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver

Pay & Benefits
Average weekly pay: $1,465
Weekly guaranteed pay: $1,200
Solo Miles pay: $0.67 per mile for 1,200–1,500 miles per week
Solo Stops pay: $18.71 per stop for 25–35 stops per week
Paid training
Schedule: Monday–Friday, no weekends
Start time: 5:00–6:00 AM
Truck & Route
Trucks: Three‑year or newer day cabs with 53′ dry van trailers
Route: Local Home Daily, delivering to locations within 250 miles of Nashville
Equipment required: Manual pallet jack, liftgate, hand truck – training provided
Fuel and roadside maintenance: 24/7 service by Ryder technicians at 800+ maintenance facilities
Freight: Touch – flooring materials

Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations and standards.
Detect, eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs.
Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age.
Pass a Ryder drug test.
Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the past 3 years.
Pass a DOT physical.
Pass a Ryder road test.
Provide a valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements.
Experience: 9 months of tractor‑trailer experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Some positions may require additional screening: employment/education verification, motor vehicle records check, badge or background requirements of the customer.
