Job Summary Our Skilled Construction Laborers provide support to Skilled Craft workers and the successful completion of construction and engineering work. This position will work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervisor. Ability to follow guidance and instructions from senior personnel, supervisors, or foremen to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring regulatory compliance
Supervise on-site teams, subcontractors, and daily construction activities to maintain quality and efficiency
Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with standards
Oversee equipment, materials, and labor resources; coordinate timely procurement and delivery
Identify and resolve project challenges and conflicts to keep work on track
Provide progress updates, maintain accurate project documentation, and report to senior management

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
3-5 years in heavy civil construction, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety (OSHA) regulations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel to project sites and work independently or as part of a team
Work Environment & Location
This position requires travel 85% - 90% of the time throughout Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California
Ability to travel to different job sites and/or states as required
