Calhoun's is looking for a Host to join their Bearden Hill location. The host greets guests with a smile, explains our seating system, maintains the restaurant layout, and communicates volume levels to Management and Staff.
Responsibilities
Greet each guest with a smile and welcome
Explain and direct the system of seating
Maintain restaurant layout and clear and reset tables
Communicate volume levels to Management and Staff
General Requirements
Team Player with a sense of humor
Smiles easily and often
Must demonstrate good math and communication skills
Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. frequently
Position requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workday
Works well in a group and under some stress
TO GO Host Requirements
This position is attained after successful Host duty execution or GM approval
Pleasant phone voice and etiquette
Listens and takes direction from Guests and Management
Must have excellent menu knowledge
Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. frequently
Position requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workday
Will be required to enter and exit building numerous times to service To Go Guests in their cars
Must be able to operate handheld payment devices and cash when necessary
Be able to multi-task and assist regular Hosts as needed

Salary Salary: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
