Job Summary At OTH Hotels Resorts, hospitality isn’t scripted, it’s personal. As a Bellperson, you are often the first hello and the last goodbye, setting the tone for a guest’s entire experience. This role goes far beyond transporting luggage. You are a guide, a connector, and a trusted presence, someone who helps guests feel oriented, cared for, and genuinely welcomed from the moment they arrive. Whether you’re offering directions, sharing a local recommendation, or ensuring a smooth arrival or departure, your presence shapes how guests remember their stay.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, creating an immediate sense of welcome and care.
Assist guests with luggage in a prompt, safe, and courteous manner, ensuring belongings are handled with respect.
Escort guests to their rooms when appropriate, providing helpful information about hotel amenities, services, and layout.
Offer directions, local recommendations, and transportation assistance to enhance the guest experience.
Coordinate with the Front Desk, Valet, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless arrivals and departures.
Respond to guest requests with professionalism, ownership, and a genuine desire to help.
Maintain a clean, organized lobby and bell area, ensuring carts and equipment are in good working condition.
Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and traffic awareness.
Uphold guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Represent the hotel with a polished appearance, positive attitude, and team-first mindset.
Who You Are
Naturally welcoming, personable, and comfortable engaging with guests from all walks of life.
Attentive to details and able to anticipate guest needs without being asked.
Dependable and able to stay calm and professional in a fast‑paced environment.
Physically able to lift and transport luggage (up to 50 lbs), stand, walk, and work outdoors when needed.
Comfortable working flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Communicates clearly in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
Prior hospitality, bell, valet, or guest services experience is preferred but a positive attitude and willingness to learn matter most.
