Description AC Barbeque is a new BBQ lifestyle brand created by beloved comedians and grilling enthusiasts, Anthony Anderson and Cedric The Entertainer. Founded on the principles of Black excellence, family tradition, and bringing people together, AC Barbeque aims to provide the tools, flavor, and community that will take grilling to the next level with food rooted in culture and fueled by community. When you need to up your BBQ game, just look to the AC Flame. AC Barbeque is excited to announce its first brick and mortar restaurant in Westfield Century City in Spring/Summer 2024.
Position At AC Barbeque, we don't just serve food— we serve an experience. As a Team Member, you'll be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, working the kitchen, ensuring every plate that leaves the line is flawless, and providing great hospitality. Whether you're serving up slow‑smoked goodness or helping a guest pick the perfect sauce, you bring the heat with energy, passion, and flavor.
What You'll Do
Greet every guest with a big smile and big energy, like they just walked into your family cookout.
Help guests navigate the menu so they don’t miss out on must‑try flavors.
Monitor orders and recommend missing items such as drinks or sides.
Ensure guests verify orders on the ordering screen before processing payment.
Make sure orders are accurate, processed smoothly, and packed up with BBQ love.
Know the menu inside out—when customers ask about sauces, you can school them.
Accurately read and communicate tickets to the team, clearly relay allergens, special requests, and other special circumstances, and keep the work area organized.
Execute recipes according to specifications; ensure all product is at the correct temperature, prepared with optimal quality, and meets any allergies or special requests; prepare and cut product as necessary.
Work as a team to keep the AC Barbeque vibe top‑tier—no weak links in this pit crew.
Requirements
Restaurant experience is nice to have, but if you bring the right energy we can teach you the rest.
Personality—if you can light up a room like a grill on game day, you’re our kind of person.
