Job Description
Mount Sinai Department of Pathology is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the field of COVID-19 serology. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting‑edge research on the immune response to SARS‑CoV‑2, focusing on antibody detection, characterization, and the long‑term immune protection provided by vaccines and natural infections.
Qualifications PhD or MD.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize high‑throughput serological assays for the detection of antibodies against SARS‑CoV‑2, utilizing clinical chemistry automation platforms.
Collaborate with clinical chemistry laboratories to streamline COVID‑19 serology testing within automated systems.
Analyze data to assess antibody prevalence, immune response duration, and correlate clinical outcomes with serological findings.
Engage in cross‑functional collaboration with immunologists, clinical chemists, and bioinformaticians to enhance diagnostic accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Prepare manuscripts for publication in high‑impact journals and present findings at national and international conferences.

Compensation Statement Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $72500 - $80000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
