Job Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing residential units, common areas, health center rooms, and dining areas to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
Responsibilities
Cleans residential units, residents' rooms, and common areas (including stairwells) of assigned work areas.
Sanitizes health center rooms after move‑out or before move‑in.
Brings protectors to laundry area each day as needed.
Maintains dining areas clean and sanitized at least twice daily.
Cleans, dusts, sanitizes, sweeps, mops, and vacuums daily assigned work areas.
Handles garbage removal, including biohazards removal as contracted by vendor.
Performs cleaning duties and functions as contracted by independent residents.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Up to one month related experience or training (preferred).
Minimum 6 months working with older adults in a healthcare setting (desirable).
Willingness to receive annual influenza vaccination during flu season.
