Job Summary The AM Technician is responsible for the daily operation of the Additive Manufacturing equipment. This position will prepare machines for production, maintain throughput, and apply cleaning and finishing techniques to completed parts. Work efficiency and attention to detail is crucial for success.

Essential Functions

Read and interpret prints, specification sheets, and/or 3D files.

Perform basic operations of 3D printers for multiple technologies, including SLA/DLP: build startups and vat swaps.

Perform build startups, frame changes, and powder refills for SLS/MJF.

Perform build startups, machine calibrations, and tip changes for FDM.

Perform basic post-processing and finishing techniques of completed parts.

Perform visual inspection of parts per specifications.

Track production progress using ERP system.

Assist with cleaning and preventative maintenance of machines, tools, and workstations.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Technical Competencies

Basic knowledge of SLA, SLS, MJF, FDM, and DLP machines.

Basic knowledge of material properties.

Basic knowledge of machine interfaces.

Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.

Basic knowledge of print reading.

Proficient knowledge of commonly used hand and power tools.
