Chef de Cuisine, San Laurel – Conrad Los Angeles , a flagship restaurant in the new luxury hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Conrad Los Angeles is part of The Grand LA project, a billion‑dollar development that includes a 45‑story residential tower and a 28‑story hotel with 300 rooms, a world‑class spa, a rooftop pool deck, and three dynamic dining experiences. Our signature restaurant, San Laurel, partners with Chef José Andrés’ award‑winning restaurant group.
Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef in directing and overseeing all culinary operations for the rooftop restaurant, pool, and lobby bar.
Lead the planning, preparation, production, and control of culinary operations to deliver outstanding guest service and profitability.
Ensure food quality, presentation, and compliance with all safety and sanitation standards.
Implement policies and procedures, control costs, and manage profitability.
Interact with guests and clients to monitor satisfaction, evaluate trends, address issues, and make improvements.
Stay abreast of food trends, techniques, and regional tastes.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
Supervise, counsel, train, and schedule team members; conduct performance evaluations and recognize achievements.
