Epic Willow Ambulatory Credentialed Trainer

Position Summary The Willow Ambulatory Credentialed Trainer delivers high-quality end-user training and provides ongoing education for the Epic Willow Ambulatory module. Working under the guidance of the Principal Trainer and training leadership, the Credentialed Trainer delivers curriculum, supports users during go-live, and helps ensure staff are confident and competent in using Epic for ambulatory medication management workflows.
Key Responsibilities Training Delivery
Conduct classroom, virtual, and one-on-one training sessions for end users, including pharmacists, technicians, nurses, and clinic staff who work with ambulatory medication workflows.
Teach the approved Willow Ambulatory curriculum as designed by Principal Trainers, ensuring consistent and accurate delivery.
Clearly explain workflows, demonstrate system functionality, and reinforce best practices.
Training Support & Logistics
Prepare training rooms, materials, attendance rosters, and evaluation tools.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating end-user training sessions.
Provide coaching and support to learners who need additional guidance.
Go-Live & Post-Go-Live Support
Serve as at-the-elbow support for ambulatory clinics and pharmacy staff during go-live events.
Answer workflow questions, troubleshoot basic issues, and elevate problems appropriately.
Assist with reinforcing proper use of Epic and ensuring staff follow standard processes.
Content Feedback & Maintenance
Give feedback to Principal Trainers on course materials, training obstacles, and end-user needs.
Participate in optimization sessions to help maintain the relevance of training curriculum.
Stay up to date with system changes, upgrades, and new workflows introduced by the build team.
Qualifications Required
Completion of Epic credentialing program for Willow Ambulatory (or ability to obtain credentialing within organizational timelines).
Experience inatory care, clinical operations, or healthcare training.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain complex topics in a clear and approachable way.
Strong comfort with technology and learning new systems.
Preferred
Pharmacy technician, pharmacy, nursing, or ambulatory clinic experience.
Previous Epic training or at-the-elbow support experience.
Knowledge of standard ambulatory medication workflows and safety practices.
