This is an armed, part-time position offering an engaging opportunity to make a positive impact every day. You will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail location, deter security-related incidents, and foster a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. DayTime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate communication and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including interior and perimeter areas, to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas, maintaining a visible security presence to deter unwanted behavior. Interact professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff, addressing questions or concerns and providing assistance as needed. Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel. Carry and maintain control of authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable laws and regulations. Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation accurately and promptly as required by Allied Universal and site management. Minimum Requirements
Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a Level III armed certification for roles in Texas only. An armed guard card or armed guard license is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
