Job Summary and Qualifications As an Echo Cardio‑Technologist, you will provide echocardiographic and non‑invasive cardiologic examination services to patients of all ages—neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. You will prepare patients for exams, monitor progress and record results.
Responsibilities
Maintain, compile, calculate and prepare findings for physician interpretation and archiving.
Complete all responsibilities following established guidelines and protocols within appropriate timeframes.
Maintain ongoing education and professional development appropriate for the position.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree preferred.
Registry required within one year of hire date with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) or The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS).
CPR certification required.
Minimum one year of experience in an echocardiography or similar setting.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with ultrasound equipment and probes.
