Right At Home In Home Care, located in Wallingford CT, is currently seeking professional vaccinated Homemakers, Companions, CNAs, and PCAs to provide care to our elderly clients in the convenience of their homes. Ideal candidates should have 6 months or more of documented caregiving experience.

Targeted areas: Wallingford, Meriden, Middletown, Southington, Cheshire, Waterbury, Naugatuck, Watertown, Woodbury, Plymouth, Terryville, and surrounding areas.

Compensation and Benefits for the Caregiver

Full‑time/Part‑time Salary: $16.35 – $22.00/hour

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

High school diploma or GED.

Must pass a full employment background check.

Basic computer skills.

Nice to Have’s

CNA or HHA certification.

6 months or more experience as a caregiver/home health aide.

CPR and first aid certification.

COVID vaccination and ability to provide card.

Responsibilities include assisting with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, dementia care, companionship activities like reading, music, puzzles, and other household chores.
