Recreation Aide – Part Time – $18.13/hr
Under the general supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, the employee assists in the scheduling and conducting of recreational and athletic activities. Responsibilities include registering new members, reserving courts, operating and maintaining the pro shop, and supporting youth programs. Work is reviewed through observation for adherence to established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Open and close recreation and park facilities as needed
Take reservations and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
Operate the front desk, sell accessories, rent equipment, and issue membership cards
Answer inquiries by phone and in person, providing information on facilities and services
Ensure facilities are kept neat and clean; verify equipment is safe and in working condition
Collect monies from guests for recreational and facility activities and maintain accurate records
Assist with Special Events and activities
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Valid State of Florida driver’s license
Prior recreation experience preferred
Note:
