As a cook, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee the foodservice operation, and ensure adequate food and supplies are available.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
Follow the menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions on the proper form.
Clean and maintain a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
Comply with state sanitation codes.
Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify that items are received appropriately, and restock as needed.
Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed.
Requirements
Obtain a Food Handlers Card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations.
Read, write, speak, and understand English.
