About the Role The Fuel Blend Technician I will operate a Fuel Blender to sustainably dispose of hazardous waste.
Position Responsibilities
Move a 55‑gallon drum along the rollers to the drum elevator using levels.
Utilize a forklift to pull drums from staging areas and load them onto the line with grabbers.
Load and stack empty drums in the trailer, keeping it in good order.
Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other power tools.
Maintain a clean work area throughout the day.
Use inventory tracking systems.
Understand the operational process of the Fuel Blender, including test bucket sampling, removing open‑top lids, and de‑head drums.
Support tanker pumping, drum transport, tag pulling, and pallet handling.
Observe all aspects of loading and unloading tankers, providing support.
Communicate with other technicians to ensure efficient, productive, and safe operations.
Follow all environmental, health, safety compliance and EPA requirements.
Complete additional assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older.
1–2 years of experience with hazardous waste or related fields.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Possess 40‑hour OSHA Training or willingness to complete it.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Related work experience.
Physical Demands of the Role
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb.
Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.
Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
Qualify to wear a full‑face respirator.
Consistently work in various weather conditions.
