WORLDPAC
Overview
The Delivery Driver / Warehouse team member drives over an established route(s) to deliver products and/or pick up returned merchandise from customers. Additionally, this position fulfills all shipping and receiving functions within the Branch.
Responsibilities
Uses vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner.
Create and maintain records as needed; dispatch, confirm customer orders, and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents.
Sort, organize, and prepare merchandise from receiving or the production areas to storage or other designated areas by part and quantity.
Ensure that customer orders are located, picked up, and signed for; collect funds from customers if needed and maintain all necessary documents.
Other duties may be assigned.
Job Skills Essential job skills include: ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to lift 50 pounds; driving safely while adhering to company safety standards; operating equipment such as forklift and pallet jack; reliable attendance; basic math skills; computer and handheld radio frequency device usage; effective verbal and written communication.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record per company standards.
Must meet all applicable state‑specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle.
Ideal candidates: familiarity with automotive parts is preferred; demonstrated customer service excellence; attention to detail; critical thinking; punctuality; maintaining a clean work environment; respectful pushback; willingness to learn new skills.
Physical Demands The team member is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, listen, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, climb, and balance. Lifting up to 100 pounds may be required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. The work environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and high noise levels.
Pay Range USD $12.75 - $21.50 / Hr.
Posted Salary Range USD $14.25 - $19.00 / Hr.
