STGi is seeking a
Housekeeper
to provide services at our Georgia War Veterans Home. This position is located at 2249 Vinson Highway SE, Milledgeville, GA. Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day activities of housekeeping as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor to assure the facility is maintained in a clean and comfortable manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Clean, disinfect equipment and supplies, monitor environment for potential hazards, clean vacant rooms as assigned, ensure proper disposal of infectious waste(s) into appropriate containers and other duties as assigned. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Work is typically performed in an environmentally controlled environment. Work is performed on multi-level facilities. Required Skills
Effective English communication skills Ability to understand basic housekeeping tasks consistent with facility priorities. Professional demeanor with resident community Required Education
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Benefits
