Job Details The QA Laborer is responsible for collecting samples from machines within the facility for the laboratory. The candidate must maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, provide high‑quality service, adhere to company policies, and assist in providing a safe working environment. Energetic, enthusiastic, and possessing great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group is required. Commitment to customer service is essential.
Job Responsibilities
Picking up rubber samples from machines that production workers will have cut out
Taking samples to the lab and recording them in a log specifying the machine they came from
Time‑stamping each sample before handing it to lab technicians
Picking up tickets and scanner from the lab and matching tags to the correct skid of rubber using information on provided tags
Using scanner to check barcodes on tickets to ensure correct ticket is applied to correct skid of rubber
Analyzing soap samples delivered by operators to the lab
Placing soap samples into the moisture analyzing machine and running the analysis
Logging data collected from soap sample analysis
Maintaining a safe work environment following all required safety regulations and protocols
Completing other duties as assigned
Job Requirements Skills and Abilities
Must be 18 years or older
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, orally or in writing
Must follow all health and safety requirements
Good communication skills
Customer‑oriented and friendly
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
Some computer skills and knowledge preferred
Physical Requirements
Stand and walk for long periods of time; climb stairs
Repeat the same movements
Frequent bending and twisting
Ability to lift, push & pull 50 lbs
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Full‑time 1st shift
Monday‑Friday
9 am‑5 pm (overtime and weekends as needed)
$22/hr
