Schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends & holidays.
Overview: Join our Environmental Services team and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role is essential to patient safety and infection prevention, ensuring high-quality cleaning and sanitizing throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, clinics, and public spaces
Apply disinfection protocols in high-acuity clinical and procedural areas
Remove hazardous and biohazardous waste in compliance with safety regulations
Operate approved cleaning tools and light floor equipment
Communicate and collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care flow
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
No previous experience required—training provided!
Must be able to wear protective equipment (gowns, gloves, goggles, closed-toe shoes)
Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, squat, lift/carry up to 35 lbs. or more up to 80% of the time
Ability to climb ladders and operate floor‑cleaning equipment
Requires the ability to clean areas that require technical cleaning including IR/Cardiac Cath/Mother-Baby/NICU/OR/ED
