About the Role We’re seeking a Server to provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents. In this role, you’ll ensure high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean and safe dining environment, and support a team that creates a pleasant and engaging atmosphere. You’ll interact directly with residents, families, and coworkers, helping to foster a welcoming and positive community.
What You’ll Do
Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents’ dining preferences and dietary needs are met.
Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment.
Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards.
Assist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment.
Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in food service preferred.
Current ServSafe Certification required.
Ability to obtain/hold any local, state, or county food handling/sanitation licenses as required.
Must be 18 years or older, pass health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting, and background checks.
First Aid certification required.
Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor.
Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.
