Locating underground facilities for urban and rural construction zones. Observe, locate, mark and document utility lines using transmitter and tools while ensuring compliance with client and state requirements. Responsibilities
Observe, locate, mark and document underground and exposed utility locations. Interpret job order tickets, blueprints, maps and site conditions to route and perform locating duties. Use transmitter, signal receiver and other equipment to locate buried facilities and verify utility customer requests. Work independently or as part of a team in construction zones, residential, commercial, industrial and rural areas in all weather conditions. Perform locates and emergency/on‑call locates during regular, overtime and holiday hours to meet customer needs. Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and third parties while maintaining a damage‑free environment. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. State issued Driver’s License. Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills. Ability to read, interpret and decipher multiple types of prints. Background screening with no violations within the last 5 years. Passe a DOT drug test. Vacuum truck experience (A+). Ability to lift over 50 lbs and walk/stand for multiple hours a day. Excellent communication skills. Benefits
