Our client is a

global life sciences services organisation

operating at significant scale across pharma, biotech, and research markets. They are seeking a

Senior Vice President / General Manager

to take full ownership of a major Genomic Services business unit, with

end-to-end responsibility for a $50M+ P&L

and a multidisciplinary team of

30+ professionals

across commercial, scientific, and operational functions. This is a

true general management role

for a proven leader who can balance

commercial growth, operational excellence, and scientific credibility , within a highly technical, fast-moving genomics environment. Scope & Responsibilities

Full

P&L ownership

for a large, established Genomic Services business (>$100M revenue) Leadership of a

30+ person organisation , spanning sales, account management, scientific delivery, and operations Define and execute

growth strategy

across pharma, biotech, and advanced research customers Drive expansion of

NGS-led services , while overseeing a broader genomics and multi-omics portfolio Partner closely with global executive leadership on

pricing strategy, capacity planning, margin optimisation, and investment decisions Strengthen enterprise-level relationships with

top 20 pharma and large biotech accounts Scale teams, processes, and infrastructure to support

continued global growth Ensure operational excellence, quality, and customer satisfaction at scale Candidate Profile

10+ years of senior leadership experience within

genomic services, NGS services, or closely related life sciences services Demonstrated experience owning or leading a

$50M+ P&L

(or clear progression toward it) Track record of leading

large, cross-functional teams (25–50+) Deep commercial understanding of

NGS-driven service models , enterprise contracts, and complex pharma buying cycles Strong strategic mindset with the ability to operate

hands-on

when required Credibility with both

scientific stakeholders and C-suite executives Experience working in

global or multi-regional organisations
