Job Overview As a Biomedical Services Specialist at DaVita, you’ll be trained to repair & regularly service our Dialysis Machines. You will become part of a Team that values work‑life balance and where your personal and professional growth is a top priority.
This role will mainly cover our Goose Creek, SC clinic (on call pay, mileage reimbursement & additional travel pay if outside your designated area is offered).
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair dialysis machines.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues.
Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics.
Assist with on‑call rotations as needed.
Communicate openly, honestly and frequently with teammates.
Qualifications
Mechanical abilities and repairs experience or aptitude; electronics knowledge and diagnostics preferred (candidate will be trained and certified).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with teammates.
Tech savvy and comfortable troubleshooting problems.
Solid computer skills – MS Office applications, internet navigation, and DaVita‑specific applications.
Available for on‑call rotations when needed.
Requirements
High School Diploma (GED) required at time of onboarding.
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; automobile insurance.
Close proximity to clinics & hospitals in the area to provide adequate emergency response coverage.
