Part Time Security Officer – 1st Shift
Location: Crystal Lake, IL | Employer: Securitas Security Services USA, Inc.
We are looking for a
Part Time Security Officer
to work the
Weekends 1st Shift , based in Crystal Lake, IL.
Wage: $18.27 / hour.
Base pay range: $18.00–$18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Conflict resolution and de‑escalation.
Secure entrances and exits.
Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
Protect evidence or scene of incident during emergencies, accidents or security investigations.
Set up barriers, signage and provide direction to others.
Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature as required for the assigned site.
Position Requirements
Minimum age 18 years.
Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
High school diploma or GED (or ability to complete GED within 6 months).
Standard computer / technology skills.
Customer service background preferred.
Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience is a plus.
Able to interact with a wide range of individuals professionally.
Great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Willingly participate in Securitas pre‑employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation.
