Child Care Teacher – Bright Horizons (Pembroke, MA)

Responsibilities
Create hands‑on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
Maintain open communication with parents, sharing the child’s daily milestones.
Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
MA DEEC teacher certification (Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care). Requirement.
One year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
CDA, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children.
Pass required state and company background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements.
Physical Requirements This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and Bright Horizons requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. Work is in person at an early education/preschool childcare center. The employee will provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons policies and compliance with applicable laws and regulations to ensure child safety.
Salary/Hourly Rate and Compensation The hourly rate for this position is $22.75–$27.80 per hour. The pay range reflects what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers may vary based on experience, education, training, certifications, geography, and other business or organizational factors.
